Under the direction of the EH&S Manager, support and implement Safety and Environmental programs including, but not limited to, LOTO, Electrical Safety, Machine Guarding, Contractor Safety, and Job Hazard Assessments

Monitors, administers, evaluates and coordinates company EH&S programs to ensure a safe workplace

Develops and advises employee workplace programs related to safety and environmental health

Coordinates confirmation of policies and programs in accordance with industry and government regulations
-
Collaborates across departments to achieve and maintain consistency of EH&S program implementation
-
Conduct regular site inspections for compliance with EH&S programs
-
Analysis of leading and lagging safety performance indicators for trends to drive corrective actions
-
Serve as EHS representative for assigned building and functional safety council
-
Conduct injury investigations and root cause analysis, develop corrective actions and track to completion

Contribute to the development and implementation of EH&S strategic initiatives that drive continuous improvement

Develop programs, processes and procedures to improve EH&S programs, culture for employees and contractors
-
Support the improvement of business and site EH&S communications plan
-
Support emergency response and enterprise preparedness programs

Provide instructor led training on various safety topics

Provide support for other site EH&S programs such as safety and environmental
-
Support the site to meet EH&S requirements for upcoming internal and external audits including Cal VPP, AS9100 and other internal company assessments

Interpretation of OSHA, NIOSH, ANSI standards and regulations
May need to travel to support Enterprise and Raytheon initiatives
This job is posted as ONSITE, and is based at Raytheon’s El Segundo, CA facility.
Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience

Experience with either data analysis or root cause / corrective actions
Qualifications We Prefer:
-
Experience managing safety programs.

Experienced conducting and/or developing creative EH&S training.

Ability to handle potentially stressful situations
-
Ability to work with minimal supervision, but will not hesitate to seek additional information from supervisors or peers so tasks can be completed in a timely and accurate manner

The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD - 181,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
