Recruiter (Contract)
Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.
Summary
We are seeking experienced Talent Acquisition Recruiters to join our team and support multiple engineering domains in a remote capacity. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging recruitment initiatives across cutting-edge technology areas. As a full-cycle recruiter, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing top-tier technical talent in highly competitive markets. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, strong stakeholder management capabilities, and a proven ability to deliver results in fast-paced environments. This position is initially offered as a 5-month contract with the possibility of quarterly extensions, up to a total duration of 18 months.
Job Responsibilities
- Demonstrate expertise and accountability in full cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and closing candidates, ensuring a seamless and efficient recruitment process
- Strategically position company strengths against top competitors and effectively close offers
- Use data and metrics to advise on talent gaps and hiring strategies
- Engage and influence leadership stakeholders, including hiring leaders and executive staff
- Handle escalations and provide solutions to challenges during the recruitment process
- Conduct x-ray Boolean search strings across multiple platforms to identify and attract hard-to-find talent
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to achieve hiring objectives within tight deadlines
- Assess technical and soft skills through effective interviewing techniques
- Monitor and improve recruitment efficiency using metrics and data-driven insights
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of talent acquisition experience in a recruiting capacity
- Proven track record recruiting for niche, hard-to-fill technical roles
- Experience recruiting across engineering domains such as data center, security, experiences and devices, or machine learning
- Knowledge of legal policies and procedures related to hiring practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and various Applicant Tracking Systems
- Full cycle recruitment experience in the technology industry
- Strong understanding of talent markets and candidate profiles across engineering domains
- Executive presence with ability to influence senior leadership
- Boolean search string expertise across multiple platforms
- Data-driven decision making and metrics analysis
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Customer service orientation with high accountability
- Problem-solving capabilities with focus on efficiency improvements
- Team collaboration mindset with commitment to organizational success
Additional Details

- Pay Range*: $36.50 - $41.50 per hour
- Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
- Job Status: Non-Exempt
