Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, provides care to residents of skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and chronic care settings. Our Omnicare of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, location is one of the larger Omnicare locations in the country. This site operates 24x7 serving a large number of facilities in addition to providing seamless support to other Omnicare locations. Although Omnicare pharmacies are not open to the public, you’ll work amongst great colleagues in a supportive environment aligned with the company’s mission, allowing our customers to focus on giving their patients the best care.
This pharmacist will provide routine and emergency comprehensive and accurate drug screening, information, processing, and dispensing services for various drug distribution systems to the centers. We are looking for someone who has a phenomenal work ethic to provide outstanding service and to ensure that the appropriate drug product reaches the customer both efficiently and safely.
You will:
• Ensure medications dispensed are clinically appropriate
• Verify orders entered by technician staff for accuracy
• Provide accurate and timely drug information to providers and customer facilities
• Check for completeness and precision of all new and refill labels and orders.
• Check for content and accuracy of all drug packaging and labeling.
• Prepare and/or provide supervision of sterile IV drug products or solutions, as required.
• Assist in maintaining a perpetual inventory for schedule II drugs.
• Be knowledgeable of DEA and state law with regards to controlled drug dispensing.
• Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage as needed by the business
• Follow all applicable state and government regulations including HIPAA.
• Other duties as assigned (these vary by location).
This pharmacist will be an integral member of the pharmacy team. Your success will be driven by your ability to lead and foster a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and service. The most successful pharmacists demonstrate excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to prioritize the workflow.

This is a full-time position offering 33 to 36 hours per week spanning both day and evening shifts. The position is Monday-Friday 1/1:30pm-9/9:30pm. The weekend rotation is every third.
Required Qualifications
Must be a licensed pharmacist in the state of Pennsylvania, active and in good standing.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$55.53 - $93.08
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
