About This Role: The Production Specialist is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management and logistics of Clinical Production queues and ensures the efficient flow of Clinical Production outputs. This role encompasses queue management, daily production metrics analysis, and adherence to KPIs to drive efficiency, quality, and overall employee satisfaction. This is a temporary role.
The Production Planning Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the Clinical Operations department is optimally staffed and equipped to meet the demands of patch interpretation. This role combines expertise in workforce planning, production forecasting, performance analysis, and scheduling to drive efficiency, quality, and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure flow in Clinical Escalation process, ensuring timely handling of expedited requests to post reports.
- Monitor the Clinical Queue using Tableau Dashboards and the QA tool, promptly addressing issues to maintain smooth operations.
- Aging Scan triage and reallocation to post within the company SLA s
- Monitor for Special accounts and ensure that scans stay within designated queues for appropriate Patch Technician completion to effectively eliminate leakage.
- Collaborate closely with Clinical Leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance departmental efficiency and workflow.
- Offer valuable feedback on systems or concerns to Clinical Managers, contributing to continuous improvement and operations optimization.
- Adhere rigorously to job-specific proficiency requirements and diligently fulfill all assigned duties, maintaining high performance and professionalism standards.
Qualifications:
- An associate degree or equivalent coursework; two years of college coursework is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, MS Teams, Excel, Adobe, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
