Caterpillar Excavation Division (EXD) is currently looking for a Machine Simulation Engineer to perform virtual analyses for the concept, design, and validation of hydraulic excavators and their components.
In this role you will collaborate with global design and validation teams to develop, coordinate, and execute virtual analyses while managing project quality and cost.
＜Job Description＞
• Collaborate with global simulation experts to learn, develop, and implement new technologies and process improvements within EXD.
• Support the design team through the planning, execution, and reporting of virtual analyses throughout the product development cycle.
• Collaborate across organizations to help resolve product issues using simulation.
• Leverage simulation to deliver quality, cost, and growth initiatives for the organization.
• Degree in Engineering
• Ability to work in Japanese and English
• Strong communication skills
• Excavator product knowledge
• Simulation or Validation experience
• Structural Mechanics / Dynamics experience
• This position requires working onsite five days a week.
