- Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with Product, Marketing, and cross-functional engineering teams across Clover to ensure platform cohesion and alignment with company-wide technical strategies.
- Responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary.
Experience You’ll Need to Have

- Core Tech Oversight: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience or direct oversight of development in a tech stack heavily featuring TypeScript, React.js, and Next.js for building sophisticated user interfaces.
- Content & Performance: Expertise in leveraging Content Delivery Networks (CDN) and Content Management Systems (CMS such as Contentful or Adobe Experience Manager) for performance optimization, caching, and extensibility.
- Tooling Expertise: Deep knowledge of modern Web technologies, JavaScript (ES6+), and surrounding tooling/ecosystems.
- Proven Scale: Proven success in building and scaling mission-critical, customer-facing web applications (preferably in FinTech, E-commerce, or a similar high-volume domain).
- Talent Acquisition: Demonstrated ability to attract, hire, and retain top engineering talent.
- Communication Mastery: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience That Would Be Great to Have
- Industry Domain: Experience in the financial technology (FinTech) or Payments industry.
- Specialized Systems: Prior experience leading teams focused on AdTech, Marketing Technology (MarTech), or high-scale content delivery systems.
