SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNING ENGINNER
Job Description & Desired Skills required
* In-depth knowledge of Quality systems process.
* In-depth knowledge of the supply chain process.
* Core Knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering & Capacity planning including Cycle time studies.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Demonstrated leadership qualities & expertise in handling change management and decision making.
* In-depth knowledge of problem-solving techniques.
* Should be aware of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standards & its requirements.
* Co-ordinate with all stakeholders for issue resolution. Should be a team player.
* Monitor supplier performance & initiate actions to improve with respect to Quality / Velocity.
* Initiate review meetings & review actions on periodic basis along with suppliers to drive quality culture.
* Take lead in CQMS / IMS certification & ensure all requirements are met.
* Conduct training / Lead training requirements.
Basic Qualifications
BE in Mechanical / Industrial Production / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Manufacturing Engg with min. 10-15 years / ME with 5-8 yrs in Quality / Manufacturing Engg / Operations / Purchasing / Supply Chain.
Top Candidates preferred to have
Green Belt / Black Belt certification.
IMS / QMS internal auditor / external auditor certification.
Additional Information
Willing to travel 25% of time.
Role Definition
Performs analysis to identify and develop business improvement opportunities with increasing scope and complexity to evaluate return on investment (ROI) of the opportunity.
Responsibilities
• Identifying, defining, leading implementation of integrated supply chain solutions and performance improvements, including building internal and external alliances to explore opportunities.
• Establishing and strengthening effective linkages, partnerships, and best practices with business partners and internal functions.
• Investigating and incorporating industry benchmarks, metrics and best practices to develop optimal supply chains for suppliers and/or product sets, Deployment of Best Quality systems at supplier end, Conduct Capacity studies.
• Leads the development and analyzes data and information to identify and prioritize opportunities for improving performance and creating more cost-effective supply chains, inventory utilization, and business partnerships.

• Works with suppliers to ensure that purchases meet delivery date and quality specifications.
Supply Chain Management - MFG: Knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and use, strategies, practices and tools for controlling the logistical processes.
