Description:The Invoicing & Billing Lead is responsible for overseeing the timely, accurate, and compliant generation of customer invoices across government and commercial customers. The leader will ensure the effectiveness, resilience, and scalability of end to end invoicing and billing across all contract types, overseeing generation, validation, distribution, and the coordination of complex internal and inter company billing processes, including the 1LMX transformation and organizational transitions. The role guarantees completeness and accuracy of invoices in line with enterprise billing policy, manages billing queues, and resolves systemic delays, discrepancies, or errors within billing systems. By leveraging data, analytics, and performance metrics, the leader provides executive level reporting on billing accuracy, cycle time, trends, risks, and service performance, while applying predictive analytics and benchmarking to shape long term planning and investment decisions. They will define billing performance metrics, reporting standards, and insight priorities, and enforce compliance with enterprise, contractual, and governmental billing requirements through robust governance frameworks, audit readiness, and close partnership with Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit, and Accounting. As the primary strategic partner, the leader will craft and execute a long term vision and roadmap for invoice and billing capabilities aligned with OTC strategy, 1LMX, GFS Reinvention, and corporate values, collaborating with Collections & Cash Application, Contract Close out, IT, and Business Areas. Additionally, they will build and mentor a high performing team of managers and associate managers, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence while driving process optimization, automation, standardization, system enhancements, and user experience improvements to elevate productivity, quality, and service outcomes.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $143,600 - $248,975. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
