The Global Intelligent Sensing & Reconnaissance (Global ISR) business within the Advanced Products & Solutions (APS) BU of Raytheon, is looking for a Senior Manager to lead a growing Estimating & Pricing team of ~2 analysts and a portfolio with annual bookings plan of over $500M. The role is onsite in Westford, Massachusetts and is an integral part of the leadership team in helping to maximize new business opportunities while improving margins and driving efficiencies. This is a unique role due to the entity being a hGoodrich business and operating as a wholly owned subsidiary. This role is essential for establishing transparent estimating & pricing processes and decision making to assist leadership in the continued growth of this business. Excellent communication skills are required for interactions with, and guidance for, cross-functional teams.
This position is currently designated as Onsite. The successful candidate will be required to work onsite at our Westford, Massachusetts location.
What You Will Do
-
Leadership, Motivation and Development of Pricing team.
-
Ensure alignment with the financial objectives of program directors and program managers (proposal priorities, booking priorities, pricing strategies, etc.).

Develop creative strategic approaches to product pricing with an emphasis on affordability.

Continuously assess proposal pipeline and balance team as needed to ensure all program proposal needs are adequately supported.
-
Ensure successful development of cost rationale, tests of reasonableness, audit responses and negotiation strategy.

Ensure compliance with FAR and internal estimating requirements and perform management reviews.
-
Proactively communicate status, priorities and requirements with key leadership and proposal personnel.

Conduct performance reviews, provide guidance and other appropriate supporting duties to direct reports.
-
Assisting the capture leads with new business initiatives, proposal activity, gate packages & negotiations.

Supporting DCMA & DCAA data requests and audits where applicable.
Qualifications You Must Have
-
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience.

Ideal professional experience will be related to financial analysis in a highly matrixed organization.

Experience in defense or aerospace industry.
-
Experience with interpreting and providing guidance on FAR/DFAR/TINA.

Experience leading cross-department project teams or managing across multiple related departments.

Qualifications We Prefer

Experience with government regulations related to the development and negotiation of US and Foreign cost proposals (FAR, DFARS, CAS, TINA) and supporting the DCAA/DCMA audit process.

Knowledge of the DoD Acquisition Process.

Ability to understand, interpret, apply and enforce company proposal related policies, procedures and concepts.

Ability to multi-task and be able to support a dynamic team environment.

Experience working with the ProPricer pricing tool, SBT Engineering estimating tool, SAP, BW, etc.
-
Strong communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
-
A demonstrated leader through Gate requirements.

Experience with competitive proposals.
-
Ability to apply, interpret, and provide financial guidance on Raytheon Policies and Procedures.

Direct Supervisory experience guiding teams is a plus.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
