KBR is seeking a Contracts Support Specialist to support the comprehensive management and operational support tasks related to solicitation lifecycle and government contract vehicles, emphasizing documentation, tracking, and stakeholder communication.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage solicitation lifecycle: Oversee the entire solicitation process from initial download to final distribution, ensuring timely, accurate documentation, stakeholder communication, and compliance with internal deadlines. This includes monitoring incoming solicitations like RFS, RWP, RFI, and more, distributing documents with clear requirements, and maintaining organized digital archives with version control and accessibility.
- Maintain solicitation and event dashboards: Develop and update dashboards to provide real-time solicitation status, search and filtering capabilities, visibility into deadlines, and information on upcoming industry and government events with participation requirements.
- Perform administrative and operational duties: Handle frequent administrative tasks for GSA IDIQ vehicles including artifact searching, responding to general inquiries, tracking bids in Salesforce, cleaning data, and liaising with opportunity owners. Ongoing operational duties include monitoring opportunities, maintaining SharePoint and Power BI data accuracy, responding to data requests, and supporting competitive analysis and dashboard development projects.
- This job will support several different experts in monitoring and exploiting potential work and provide an excellent opportunity to learn and develop in the government contracting sector.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2 years of experience; or an equivalent of related training and experience.
- Computer skills to include web-based search, MS office, database use
- Ability to learn new programs/applications in support of information management
- Understanding of electronic workflows using public and private portals
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with government contracting
- Familiarity with knowledge management techniques and approaches
