EAME Distribution’s mission is to deliver superior customer experience, profitable market leadership, and services growth through industry‑best distribution performance. We support governance and administration of Cat® dealers across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Eurasia.
Join our EAME Distribution team as a Product Support Operations Representative (PSOR)—a high‑impact role where your expertise in parts operations, service execution, and dealer support will directly improve dealer performance and customer outcomes across the region.
Role Summary:
Provides support for dealer‑specific product or service development. You will partner with dealers to strengthen parts availability, optimize inventory, and implement data‑driven operational improvements that reduce customer downtime and accelerate component rebuild delivery, while also building the service capabilities—technician capacity and capability, service responsiveness, and consistent job completion—required to meet Services Commitments.
What You Will Do (Responsibilities):
Service Operations – Services Commitment & Rebuild Excellence
Strengthen dealer service execution capabilities by improving shop loading, job scheduling, and technician readiness to consistently meet Services Commitments.
Improve rebuild turnaround time and durability by reinforcing Rebuild Excellence standards—contamination control, complete parts kitting, disciplined failure analysis, and adherence to standardized rebuild processes.
Elevate diagnostic and troubleshooting efficiency through better access to technical information, structured inspection processes, and consistent use of Caterpillar digital service tools.
Drive data‑driven service performance improvements by monitoring KPIs (WIP, technician efficiency, rebuild cycle time, rework rates) and partnering with dealers on targeted improvements.
Support dealers in developing service capabilities that deliver competitive, high‑durability component rebuild performance, especially for mining and high‑duty applications.
Parts Operations & Supply Chain Excellence
Partner with dealers to enhance parts operations, inventory planning, and warehouse efficiency.
Implement predictive stocking strategies that reduce downtime and support timely repairs and rebuilds.
Optimize supply chain velocity through lead‑time and freight improvements.
Guide dealers on logistics models and business‑aligned inventory strategies.
Promote Caterpillar systems and digital tools to strengthen dealer performance.
Customer Outcomes You Will Enable:
Increased Uptime – critical parts availability and strong service readiness to reduce downtime.
Higher First‑Time‑Fix Rates – through complete parts kits, job readiness, and improved service execution.
Faster Component Rebuild Turnaround – enabled through improved rebuild planning and service discipline.
Improved Durability & Lifecycle Value – especially for mining fleets and heavy‑duty applications.
What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Skills):
5–7 years in service operations with a solid understanding of parts operations, supply chain, project management, or dealer support—preferably within construction, mining, energy, marine, or oil & gas sectors in Africa.
University degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field would be advantageous.
Experience in dealer parts or service operations.
Strong background in inventory optimization, distribution management, or supply chain execution.
ERP proficiency and experience with inventory and logistics operations.
Strong analytics skills to forecast demand and identify stocking and service improvement opportunities.
Exposure to customer success, account management, warranty, and service operations.
Proficiency in French and English.
Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
