Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Technology Banking Relationship Manager to join our Salt Lake City technology banking team. In this role, you will:
Develop, retain, and grow complex client relationships by understanding the needs and priorities of clients and financial decision makers
Drive revenue generation across Wells Fargo’s platform by proactively identifying new credit and non-credit opportunities for new and existing clients
Handle all aspects of originating, structuring, and executing bank lending and other credit related products
Coordinate transactions with our credit, treasury management, foreign exchange, investment banking, capital markets, and asset-based lending groups
Perform financial analysis and underwriting in the areas of credit, cash flow and collateral
Identify and qualify top prospects in the market and then introduce them to our firm and our unique capabilities
Partner with existing clients to ensure we are helping them meet their current and future needs
Develop trusted relationships at the operational, c-suite, and board of director levels
Stay informed of industry trends, market news, and emerging technology
Represent our team in the market by hosting unique events, networking with influencers, and attending conferences
Drive relationship planning activities to deliver the full suite of bank solutions
Maintain sales and pipeline disciplines by keeping information current in relevant systems
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Fundamental knowledge of the technology ecosystem
Extensive relationships with technology companies, venture capital firms, non-bank lenders, and service providers
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of core banking products and services, such as commercial lending and treasury management
Completion of formal credit training program
Successfully completed FINRA Series 63 and Series 79 exam to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
Commercial banking account relationship management experience within the Middle Market segment
Demonstrated experience working collaboratively to deliver the organization to clients and prospects
Demonstrated experience generating new client relationships, building and retaining long-term client relationships
Experience developing and maintaining external and internal partnerships
Experience identifying and mitigating risk, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. In addition, state registration, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA review process at the time of offer acceptance
Obtaining FINRA Series 63 and Series 79, or equivalent must be completed within 180-days of date of hire if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
