Role:
Manages the day-to-day operations of all shifts of one or more manufacturing production lines.
What you'll do:
- Managing staffing, development, and performance management programs for operations staff; managing, motivating, and developing management team.
- Overseeing operations activities, ensuring that safety, and schedules and performance requirements are met and system resources are used effectively.
- Evaluates projects to define desired outcomes, methods, and requirements (costs, personnel use, equipment, space, etc.).
- Monitoring overall operations performance and implementing production safety, cost, and quality control mechanisms.
- Ensures the compliance of all regulatory guidelines and forges a safe and sound manufacturing environment.
Education Required:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering or related fields
- Intermediate English

Below are some of the most important skills that are required in this position:
Production Training:
- CNC Plasma Cutting. Knowledge of torch adjustment, speed, and height (THC), as well as managing thermal distortion and burr, and understanding electrode and nozzle consumption and lifespan.
- Oxyfuel Cutting. Knowledge of correct nozzle selection based on thickness, gas/oxygen mixtures (acetylene, propane, natural gas), clean starts, and slag control.
- Blueprint Reading and Nesting. Interpretation of tolerances, material optimization (yield), and techniques for maximizing steel plate utilization density in nesting layouts.
- Knowledge of Forming. Adjustments of stroke, speed, pressure, mechanical stops, and sensors, as well as knowledge of using automated presses, detecting springback, fatigue cracks, and out-of-tolerance deformations, and experience in applying SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Die) to processes.
Problem Solving:
- Examines specific problems, understands each stakeholder’s perspective, and documents the issue with possible solution options.
- Uses fact‑finding techniques and basic analysis to identify issues, assess information accuracy, and support reviewing risks and benefits of alternatives.
Flexibility and Adaptability:
- Adapts to new assignments, processes, and perspectives, staying open to different ideas and approaches.
- Shifts between tasks as needed, listens to others, and considers alternative ways to handle situations or problems.
Planning and Organizing:
- Monitors progress, adjusts tactics as needed, and identifies potential bottlenecks or conflicting priorities.
- Breaks tasks into manageable steps and creates action plans to ensure responsibilities are completed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools to support planning, reporting, and documentation.
Effective Communications:
- Communicates clearly at all levels, staying focused and adapting messages to the audience.
- Shows empathy and assertiveness, using appropriate persuasion to reach agreement.

- This position will be based at the Acuna Facility in Coahuila, Mexico.
- The work schedule is Monday through Friday, and the role is 100% on-site.
