About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking an Investment Publications Lead (Business Execution Consultant) to lead the end-to-end editorial strategy and production of Wells Fargo Investment Institute (WFII) content across investment guidance, market insights, securities research, and asset-allocation strategy.
Reporting to the Head of Investment Publications, this individual serves as a senior publication partner to WFII leaders, strategists, and analysts, exercising independent judgment to ensure content is accurate, timely, compliant, and aligned with Investment Publications standards and business priorities.
The Publication Lead partners closely with Marketing, Communications, Compliance, and Risk partners to set and manage the editorial calendar, establish and enforce publication timelines, and oversee the content review and approval workflow. This role is also accountable for recommending process improvements that enhance publication quality, efficiency, and consistency.
Success in this position requires advanced writing and copy-editing expertise and the ability to independently manage multiple, long-term, high-priority initiatives in a fast-paced, market-driven environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates confidence influencing senior stakeholders, balancing competing priorities, and translating business objectives into disciplined, repeatable publication outcomes.
In this role, you will:- Manage the production of Wells Fargo Investment Institute (WFII) content. The primary responsibility is preparing report drafts for review, ensuring reports receive the proper review and approvals, and moving approved reports to publishers for distribution to Wealth & Investment Management investment professionals.
- Provide copy editing for WFII reports and monitor publication usage analytics, so leaders have the data they need to assess publication effectiveness.
- Maintain a weekly editorial calendar of new releases and upcoming releases. Develop publication production timelines, manage deadlines and release dates, and collaborate with Communication and Marketing partners to develop communication plans and promote content to investment professionals.
- Support the production of Wells Fargo Investment Institute content, including Global Securities Research, Global Investment Strategy, and/or Global Asset Allocation Strategy, and collaborate with the assigned publication lead for those groups to ensure coverage and balance workload.
- Manage report templates, ensuring that they comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards and Wells Fargo brand standards.
- Manage special projects in support of WFII leaders and analysts, and make recommendations to improve the quality of publications.
Required Qualifications:- 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:- At least one year of experience in financial services
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Experience with testing and tagging documents for compliance with the American Disabilities Act
- Experience using web publishing platforms
- Strong attention to detail, including accuracy in grammar and a sharp focus on eliminating errors
- Experience working with changing priorities and deadlines
- Strong collaboration and partnering skills
Job Expectations: - Ability to perform morning publishing starting at 7 a.m. ET (6 a.m. CT).
