Description:You will be the Material Handler/CDL A Driver for the Material Handling Operations team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the plant and the DFW area.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Material Handler/CDL A Driver you will be responsible for operating a variety of equipment and vehicles to transport heavy material, maintain accurate records, and uphold safety standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Loading, unloading, and transporting heavy material throughout the plant and the DFW area
- Operating forklifts, flatbeds, tow trucks, burden carriers, and nitrogen converters
- Maintaining service ticket records and completing move tickets via wireless tablets
- Verifying transport paperwork and ensuring proper load securement
- Complying with all Federal, State, and Company regulations, including CDL and DOT requirements

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:- High school degree or equivalent.
- One to three years of related experience.
- Material handling equipment operation and forklift experience.
- Must be able to obtain hazmat certification within 120 days, if not already certified.
- Must have the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance.
Desired Skills:- Hazmat certified.
- Strong computer skills.
- Class A CDL required.
- Must have the ability to drive manual and automatic tractor trailers.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
