Amentum is seeking an Information Technology intern for a 10-week summer internship.
This position is located at Vandenberg Space Force Station, FL.
Essential Functions
- Responds to telephone calls, emails and in-person requests for a variety of technical issues in a timely and courteous manner.
- Maintains a high degree of end user support that ensures that equipment, software, communications and training is sufficient for all end user needs.
- Works in collaboration with the IT department to resolve problems and provide technical fixes.
- Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems for end users.
- Documents, tracks and monitors problems to ensure timely resolution.
- May assist IT personnel in the tech refresh deployments, installation of hardware and peripheral components, such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and other similar or related equipment.
- Develops strong understanding of company operations, requirements, and objectives to ensure that all IT operations support corporate objectives.

- Organizational and time management skills to balance, plan, prioritize, and execute projects
- Ability to work within a dynamic, fast paced environment with time constraints.

Required Experience
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (BS) or equivalent technical discipline.
- Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0 or higher
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship.
Compensation Details:
$22.00 per hour
