Overview
- Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all components of food production and processing equipment to maintain a clean environment.
- Ensures equipment and facility are effectively sanitized in accordance with food manufacturing regulations and government sanitation requirements.
- Follows all applicable GMPs & OSHA regulations, and participates in necessary safety training and plant initiantives.
- Provides timely and accurate reporting in compliance with qualityand food safety programs, including sanitation inspections & corrective actions.
- Works independently& collaborateswith others to clean different arts of the facility or assist with extra duties as needed. These responsibilities highlight the importance of sanitation workers in maintaining food safety and quality in food manufacturing facilities. They play a crucial role in ensuring that the production environent is safe and sanitary for the public.
