About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a
Senior Business Execution Consultant to join the Payments Change Delivery team. This role supports the ongoing execution, delivery, and optimization of Payments capabilities by partnering with Operations, Technology, and Product teams to manage requirements, delivery execution, and operational outcomes.
In this role, you will:- Support execution of ongoing Payments initiatives aligned to business and operational priorities
- Define, refine, and prioritize backlogs to support steady-state delivery and enhancements
- Develop and maintain features, user stories, and acceptance criteria in Jira
- Partner with Technology and Operations teams to refine requirements and support delivery execution
- Manage Jira backlogs and ensure adherence to documentation and hygiene standards
- Support iteration planning, capacity alignment, and delivery commitments
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, quality, and risk outcomes
- Lead or support business execution activities across one or more Payments operational areas
- Ensure solutions meet operational readiness, quality, and cost-effectiveness expectations
- Research and analyze moderately complex business and operational initiatives to support decision-making
- Provide independent recommendations and execution support for assigned business functions
- Support initiatives related to operational stability, process improvement, risk mitigation, and customer experience
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop plans, procedures, and delivery approaches
- Identify dependencies and cross-impacts and coordinate resolution with key stakeholders
- Act as a representative for business stakeholders within delivery teams
- Ensure deliverables align to business, operational, and capability outcomes
Required Qualifications:- 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:- 3+ years of payments, wires, or operations experience
- Experience working in an Agile delivery environment
- Advanced Jira experience, including backlog management and hygiene
- Experience writing and managing requirements, features, and user stories
- Experience supporting BAU operations or production environments
- Knowledge of HV RTGS systems (Fedwire, CHIPS), SWIFT network, and ISO 20022 messaging standards preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate concurrent initiatives
- Experience supporting complex initiatives from definition through execution
- Understanding of complex IT and operational environments and cross-functional dependencies
- Knowledge of operational processes and operational risk management
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Job Expectations:- Hybrid - 3 days in office expectations at one of the posted locations. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$87,000.00 - $154,000.00
