About The Role
As a CBRE Sustainability Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the development and execu ti on of sustainability programs. This posi ti on is integral to the Sustainability func ti on, focusing on the implementation of environmental and social sustainability ini tiati ves.
What You’ll Do
Develop and implement sustainability strategies to meet client objec t ives and minimize environmental impact
Coordinate and supervise the team's daily ac tiviti es, ensuring alignment with departmental goals
Apply knowledge of sustainability best prac t ices to integrate with global pla tf orms and achieve team objec t ives
Identify , troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues within exis ti ng systems and processes
Lead the team in enhancing the quality, efficiency, and effec t iveness of sustainability ini tiativ es Communicate and exchange complex informa ti on, set performance expecta ti ons, and manage sensi ti ve issues
Influence stakeholders with shared interests to reach consensus and drive sustainability goals Collaborate with facility managers to provide expert sustainability advice and support
Monitor and evaluate the effec tiv eness of sustainability programs, iden ti fying opportuni ti es for improvement
Develop and present sustainability status and variance reports to clients
What You’ll Need
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience in sustainability or a related field Experience in coordina ti ng and supervising team ac tivit ies, with a focus on achieving departmental objec t ives
Strong problem-solving skills to iden ti fy and resolve moderately complex issues
Ability to communicate complex informa t ion effec t ively and manage sensi ti ve situa ti ons
Proven ability to influence and build consensus among stakeholders with shared interests In-depth knowledge of sustainability best prac t ices and industry standards
Proficiency in Microso ft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong organiza t ional skills and an inquisi t ive mindset to drive con t inuous improvement in sustainability ini tiati ves
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a
candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is
$140K per year and the maximum salary for the position is
or $170K per year. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate
will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also
be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
