KBR is looking for a Manager Information Management CAD - S3D to work in our Leatherhead office.
Job Description:
Under broad direction, oversees and performs the full range of activities associated with 3D CAD coordination, management and system administration activities. Manage system set-up, admin and maintenance and coordinate the development of the 3D multi-discipline S3D model. Ensure the project specified deliverables can be produced from the model and that the content complies with the Company and client standards and conventions.
Co-ordinate interfaces between Project and KBR IT Support for the prompt resolution of CAD application issues. Develop and implement the 3D CAD management plan incorporating project and contractual requirements. Develop specifications and procedures. Provide 3D model management processes and support the development of the 3D Multi-discipline SMARTPLANT S3D model.
Responsibilities:
- Management of the SMARTPLANT S3D 3D model, global working, system administration, user support and clash management. Provide multi-discipline CAD coordination and user support.
- System setup, configuration, global workshare, administration, and user support.
- Development of plans, specification, procedures, work instructions and job notes.
- SMARTPLANT S3D global management and global working methodology.
- Define 3D model hierarchy and naming convention.
- System admin, integrity checks, maintenance activities, generate views for site, catalogue, model and reporting. Synchronise model with catalogue and update symbols.
- Preparation of Catalogues and Specifications, custom symbols.
- Deliverable/drawing setup, and configuration and production support.
- Isometric production
- Customisation including colours, name rules, symbols and assemblies.
- Develop and produce reports for audit, clash management, MTO.
- Setup drawings, borders, levels, colours, view styles, rules, dimensions and symbols.
- Isometric setup.
- MTO data output.
- SMARTPLANT Review / Navisworks and model review coordination.
- Application training and user support
- Setup batch tasks for backup, printing, drawing conversions etc

Required Competencies:
- A relevant number of years of experience in Oil & Gas/ Engineering Industry CAD Management.
- Supervisory/Management of team experience required.
- SMARTPLANT S3D CAD management experience in Offshore Oil & Gas Projects or large Engineering Project is required.
