Position Summary:
KBR is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the integration of multiple USAF digital infrastructure projects in ABMS Digital Infrastructure. You will help drive the development, testing, maturation, and coordination of USAF digital infrastructure capabilities; ensuring alignment across systems and enhancing mission effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Analysis: Conduct analysis related to hardware, software, man-machine interfaces, and system-level requirements to deliver integrated IT solutions

Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, computer engineering, aerospace engineering, or related STEM degree program.
3+ years of experience in Systems Engineering
Experience with hardware and software architecture and development
Experience with data center and test-driven development
Experience with collaborative prototype development in either open source or professional team environments.
USAF Combat Communications experience
Active Top Secret DoW clearance with SCI eligibility
Desired:
6-10 years USAF Combat Communications experience
Familiarity with modern DoW software tools, languages, and methodologies
Familiarity with DoW cyber security requirements
Knowledge of DoD open architectures such as OMS (Open Mission Systems)
Basic Compensation:
$136,000-$225,000
This range is for the Washington D.C. area only.
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s working location, knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience, clearance level, contract affordability and in consideration of internal parity.
