ADP is hiring a Director, Analytics and Insights for ADP TotalSource.
The
Director, Analytics and Insights will be an experienced leader who transforms the way value is delivered by converting business needs into analytics requirements and analytics outputs into value-driven, business outcomes as well as driving adoption, business accountability and performance tracking. This role will be accountable for ensuring the development of analytics solutions address business needs and analytics outcomes are adopted and tracked by business. This will be a highly collaborative position with significant opportunity to work closely with leaders. The Director, Analytics and Insights will report to the Accountable Business Owner or Senior Leader overseeing HRO’s key business unit.

What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with senior executives to shape HRO’s overall business strategy with data
- Explore step-out initiatives with focus on monetizing data or analytics assets and creating new products and services through big data and analytics
- Leads development of D&A roadmap within domain to sustain impact
- Defines analytics requirements and operates independently to provide requirements to Data Scientist and/or BI Director including hypotheses generation, analytics approach definition, target variable, etc. by providing interpretation of business needs
- Leads change management with support from senior business leaders
- Leads impact tracking for analytics solutions and drives remediation plans if metrics are not met
- Gathers and leverages business feedback to enhance models
- Facilitates creation and adoption of code libraries and data assets that can deepen business impact
- Build relationships with senior business leaders and the HRO Analytics team effectively navigate cross functionally to collaboratively deliver on commitments
- Excellent communication and story-telling skills with ability to present complex concepts to management, team members and non-technical audiences
- Exceptional ability to impact business results where cross group collaboration is required using strong facilitation and consensus building skills
- Excellent written, verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Develop and manage a strategy/roadmap independently and see it through end-to-end
- Feel comfortable operating in ambiguity and in a “start-up” type role where we don’t have all the answers and move at a fast pace

To Succeed In This Role
- 10+ years experience in Business Intelligence/Analytics
- Proven leadership capabilities and demonstrated ability to motivate teams towards high levels of achievement and excellence
- Experience understanding user needs / business requirements and articulating those to analytical team members, as well as translating analytics results into business insights focused on “taking action”
- Strong expertise with business strategy and supporting organizations making data-driven decisions
- Proven ability to influence and partner at the senior executive level
- Advanced skills in data analysis and creating insights from data
- Advanced proficiency in MS PowerPoint to create compelling stories through insights
- Advance proficiency in Excel and SQL
Required
A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. If you don't have a college degree, other acceptable experiences could include:
- Experience noted above, OR
- Military experience where skills including teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow-through will help you build team and client relationships, identify solutions, and achieve success
BONUS POINTS FOR THESE: Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in analytics, MBA, or similar field
- Experience working with Databricks
- Proficient working with Tableau and/or Power BI
- Experience as a product owner/product analyst/product manager/consultant preferred
- Technology or management consulting experience from MBB or Big4
- Change management and large-scale transformation experience
- Experience building out an analytics function at another organization
- Experience working in the HR technology industry preferred

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is USD $105,600.00 - USD $282,600.00 / Year*
- Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage or minimum exempt salary requirement under federal, state and local laws.
