Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Manager Accounting to join our India Analytics CoE -Global Finance Services Division Team.
We are looking for a talented Leader to join the India Analytics center of Excellence within Caterpillar’s Global Finance Services Division. GFSD utilizes global teams & innovative technology to standardize transactional work for Caterpillar and enables Business Units to focus on strategic consulting for Caterpillar.
In this role, the incumbent would support fixed cost tower, Core Center of Excellence and manage the global, centralized fixed cost analysis processes. As such, you will provide strategic and influential support to multiple service centre business units and team members, setting objectives and deliverables aligned with the strategic vision and coordinating teams’ efforts to deliver on objectives. Incumbent would also ensure collaboration and interconnectivity with Caterpillar leadership and alignment on objectives.
The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore Whitefield Office-KA
What You Will Do:
- Preparing monthly financial results, analysis and reporting
- Preparing quarterly forecast and related analysis
- Effectively communicating financial results and forecast to company senior leadership
- Maintaining financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards
- Drive improvements and efficiencies in financial analysis and reporting processes
- Collaborate across a variety of business units at Caterpillar
- Effectively manage team of accountants and provide guidance on analytical area.

- Assesses business situations to determine appropriate accounting actions and supports decision analysis.
- Shift Timing-US shift-01:00PM-10:00APM.
- This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the office
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field in Finance
- Proven experience with financial analysis and reporting
- Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to resolve issues independently and with worldwide / diverse teams
- Excellent communication skills
- Advanced English
Top Candidates will have:
- Knowledge of financial systems & reporting such as PowerBI, Axiom, BPC, OneStream
- 8 to 12 years of experience in a similar role and have people managerial experience.
- Focus on process improvement, leading initiatives and projects with the team.
- Project leadership / Black Belt.
- MBA, Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or similar.
- Fluent English
