Role Definition
The role includes the management and administration of internal and external purchasing, as well as the development of programs in Power Apps. It also involves maintaining specialized calibration equipment, including Marposs, Digimar, and MMQ, in addition to designing, creating, and approving specialized measurement equipment. Responsibilities also include developing PPAP on test machines, calibrating those machines, and creating formats used for the control and calibration of measurement equipment, ensuring accuracy and process traceability.
Responsibilities
- Search, selection, and follow-up with external suppliers, both domestic and international, for procurement activities.
- Use of systems to generate PRs and POs: SAP, Guide Buy, Next GEN.
- Documenting, filing, and generating auditable records for measurement equipment within the calibration laboratory.
- Interpretation of technical drawings (GD&T).
- Basic interpretation of test instructions.
- Knowledge of calibration standards (ASME/ISO).
- Calibration and adjustment of measurement equipment, gages, and systems integrated into machinery.
- Creation of new programs for specialized measurement equipment (Marposs, Digimar, MMQ).
- Internal control of the assigned budget.
Required Education
- Completed engineering degree or in the final stages of completion.
- Conversational English for communication with external suppliers.
Required Skills
Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret drawings with geometric tolerances and understand test instructions.
Manufacturing Processes
- Ability to organize and follow up on purchases of special and made‑to‑order equipment, ensuring quality and precision.
Quality Management System (QMS)
- Ability to create documented processes based on international standards for the implementation of measurement equipment.
Product Testing
- Ability to interpret test instructions applied to hydraulic systems and their processes.
Additional Information
- Location: Ciénega de Flores, Nuevo León.
- Occasional local travel required (training/projects).
- Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
- Relocation is not offered.
