Description:You will be the Program Manager, Release Train - Level 6 for the Release Train Management Team which is responsible for aligning air system releases across development, production, and sustainment contracts.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Program Manager, Release Train - Level 6 you will be responsible for driving the coordination, planning, and execution of air system releases, ensuring cost, schedule, and technical trade‑offs are balanced, and serving as the primary communication link with the customer.

- Align all eight air‑system blocks across development, production, and sustainment contracts.
- Evaluate enterprise cost, schedule, and technical trade‑offs for release decisions.
- Communicate release‑level activities and status to the customer.
- Set objectives, priorities, and release dates; measure aggregate progress toward release goals.
- Coordinate change requests and integrate risk management with contract program managers.

Further Information About This Opportunity
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to be considered.
Basic Qualifications:• Bachelors Degree or higher
• Experience interfacing with senior customers and executive leadership
• Prior experience leading cross-functional teams
• Proven track record of delivering complex platforms inclusive of hardware and software components
• Active Secret Clearance with a completed investigation within the last 5 years
Desired Skills:• Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including ability to address complex matter / solutions with senior leaders
• Proven ability to identify and build strong relationships with and influence decision makers, and maintain long-term customer intimacy
• Experience working with military customers
• Ability to manage, coach, train, and motivate team in technical and leadership development
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
