Operational Assessment Cell Operations Research/Systems Analysis (ORSA) Analyst (Dept. of the Air Force SC2)
Must be TS/SCI eligible (CI Poly preferred) and must work in-person at Ft. Belvoir, VA – will consider nation-wide candidates who are willing to relocate to NCR (ISA does not cover relocation expenses)
Desired Qualifications: Strong experience in designing and delivering qualitative and quantitative assessments of strategic initiatives and Operations, Activities, and Investments (OAIs); skilled in managing the assessment and evaluation of the effectiveness of OAIs; technical expertise using a wide variety of traditional and emerging analytic tools and techniques to support data-driven decision-making to mitigate risks and deliver competitive advantage across force employment, development, and design; deep understanding of predictive models, statistical inference, simulations, machine learning, optimization, data analysis, and data visualization to advance operational effectiveness and planning efforts; 3-5 years planning experience supporting senior headquarters (CCMD, Joint Staff, Air or Space Staff. MAJCOM, and/or Field Command preferred); bachelor’s degree in statistics, computer science, structured analysis, engineering, or mathematics required (Master’s degree preferred); Joint Qualified Officer, programming skills in common languages, and/or ORSA functional area certification preferred
