In this role, you will:- Manage documentation for various capital markets transactions: Serve as a liaison to front office marketers, traders, legal and credit to prepare and finalize documentation for various OTC transactions.
- Support Documentation for Equity Finance and Institutional Teams: Manage and negotiate joinder agreements with institutional clients and assist with variety of equity finance related documentation.
- Assist with Expansion of Process & Policy Optimization: Support initiatives to enhance documentation templates, streamline negotiation workflows, and implement system improvements. Collaborate with legal, credit, operations, and business partners to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Mitigate Risk & Ensure Compliance: Identify and assess legal, credit, and operational risks in documentation. Ensure adherence to firm policies, regulatory frameworks, and industry best practices.
- Engage with Clients & Stakeholders: Act as a key point of contact for counterparties during negotiations. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients to facilitate timely and favorable outcomes.
- Team Development: Leverage the expertise and mentorship of senior negotiators to accelerate your growth, strengthen your technical proficiency, and deepen your understanding of market and documentation strategies.
- Gain Strategic Insights: Work with senior management to become knowledgeable on market trends, regulatory developments, and negotiation strategies based on recent transactions and industry activity.
- Champion Innovation & Technical Solutions: Join continuous improvement efforts by identifying and implementing end-to-end technical solutions that enhance documentation efficiency. Work to become a subject matter expert in and advocate for automation and innovation.
Required Qualifications:- 6+ months of Capital Markets Document Negotiation experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications: - 1+ years of experience in negotiating and managing capital markets legal documentation.
- Experience with derivatives transactions is preferred.
- Strong work ethic and a desire to learn.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including legal, credit, risk, and business teams.
- Experience in evaluating, designing, and enhancing end-to-end technical solutions to enhance operational efficiency is a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree
Job Expectations:- Understanding of the underlying transaction and security documents and be able to grasp and articulate basic credit, operational, legal and business issues which arise during the negotiation and execution processes

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$82,000.00 - $125,000.00
