Description:You will be the Harness Design Engineer for the Integrated Fighter Group (IFG) which is responsible for developing advanced aircraft harness and interconnect solutions.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Harness Design Engineer you will be responsible for delivering reliable electrical system integration, providing engineering support to production, and creating detailed wiring documentation.

- Integrate electrical systems and subsystems, overseeing design, coordination, and supplier management.
- Provide direct liaison engineering support to Production and Supply Chain, including MRB activities.
- Review and disposition engineering actions, SPARs, and QARs.
- Create wire schematics and diagrams documenting the wiring architecture.
- Develop harness assembly drawings and build‑to‑packages for detailed parts and assemblies.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree
- Experience with 3DX, CATIA, Solidworks, Pro Engineer, Creo, Unigraphics, NX, Capital, CCD, or equivalent Computer Aided Design (CAD) tool
- Experience with Harness, Wiring, or Cable design/schematics
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
Desired Skills:- Experience with some Aerospace Aircraft (C-130H, C-130J, C-5, P3, F35, F16, F22, etc...)
- Some experience, and technical/project leadership experience on large-scale aircraft and defense systems acquisition and development programs
- Some experience with LM Aero tools and databases; these include but are not limited to LAWS, JEDI, ECRS, DIMs, CADatanet, ServiceFlo, Parts Warehouse, CSPL, and ADMS

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
