THE WORKThe successful applicant will become the Program Manager for all Intra-Lockheed Martin Work Transfer Agreements (IWTAs) within the Oldsmar, FL manufacturing facility. Responsibility for a portfolio of programs which produce digital and RF circuit cards for various internal Lockheed Martin customers. This position has precision manufacturing related orders and sales responsibility in the ASW Acoustic Sensors & Weapons (ASW2) submarket segment within Sensors, Effectors, and Mission Systems (SEMS) market segment. The Program Manager will also be responsible for being assigned to various proposal support activities within the Precision Manufacturing portfolio and for strategy development and business development opportunities.

WHO YOU AREThe applicant should have a detailed understanding, or willingness to rapidly learn, the techniques of executing build to print (BTP) manufacturing business, optimizing production processes using digital transformation (DX), supply chain management and directly assisting Manufacturing Program Managers on the production floor. The production floor utilizes multiple automated surface mount pick and place machines, automated optical and x-ray inspection machines, flying probe testing, advanced environmental stress screening machines, cable and harness assembly flow lines, and extensively applies lean production processes. Experience with some or all of these capabilities is highly desirable. Certification as a Green Belt or Black Belt is also desirable as well as experience with AS9100, IPC J-STD-001 and ISO14001.

Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with a minimum of six (6) years of Program/Project Management experience
• Ability to prioritize, balance multiple tasks simultaneously and bring matters/issues to successful closure, all in the midst of changing priorities
• A detailed understanding of financial/business analysis, government contracts, technology/business planning
• Strong eye for business and an understanding for how programs support overall business strategy
• Proven ability for decision making in uncertain environments
• Proven background of demonstrating initiative and ability to drive issues/actions to closure
• CAM experience required
• Proposal experience required
Desired Skills:• Program Management Professional (PMP) certification, from the Project Management Institute (PMI)
• Refresh and further utilize Full Spectrum Leadership through focus on both performance results and behaviors
• Adept at working with matrix organizations for executing and proposing programs
• Demonstrated ability to apply business best practices with lean manufacturing, integrated master schedules with critical path / critical chain of projects and production operations
• Ability to interface with senior/executive level stakeholders with capability to brief at varying management levels
• Strong oral, written, communications and organization skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
