Job title: Lead CAD Engineer

Job description: Define, create and maintain development methodologies, procedures and standards to enhance efficiency and ensure project success. Collaborate with the Project managers and client to establish clear acceptance criteria for deliverables. Estimate time and costs required to complete project, ensuring realistic planning and budget adherence. Analyze, design and build technical solutions that align with the client’s goal while ensuring high-quality execution. Oversee the creation of detailed design documentation to ensure clarity and consistency across projects. Supervise the creation of 3D models and 2D drawings ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements. Maintain documentation records of generated design deliverables for future reference. Oversee the production of final design specifications to meet technical and client requirements. Collaborate with team to ensure project requirements are satisfied and accomplished on time within budget. Proactively identify project roadblocks and ensure swift resolution. Conduct final User Acceptance Testing process to ensure alignment with client requirements. Review and provide constructive feedback to the team members for their technical skills, performance and productivity. This role will supervise up to two (2) CAD Engineers. Telecommuting permitted up to 100%. Applicant may reside anywhere in the US.
Job requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 3 years of work experience. Of the required experience, must have experience in each of the following: 3 years of experience in PTC CREO; 1 year of experience SolidWorks; 1 year of experience AutoCAD; and 1 year of experience in Jira.

Pay Range: $123,635.00 - $135,000.00 annually
Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
