Who we’re looking for
Toyota Financial Services’ Dealer Lending Department is seeking a passionate and highly motivated National Accounts Operations Supervisor.
The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee all Loan Syndications and Participations Operations functions essential to the management and maintenance of TMCC’s National Accounts commercial loan portfolio. You will be responsible for hiring, training, and managing a team of direct reports, setting success metrics, ensuring accountability, and providing timely feedback to maintain high-quality work standards. Key responsibilities include reviewing the completeness of all executed documents for various loan products—such as Syndications, Participations, Wholesale Flooring, Real Estate, Working Capital, and Revolving Lines of Credit—accurately entering loan information into the appropriate systems, and ensuring compliance with SOX and Internal Audit controls.
Reporting to the National Accounts Operations Manager, the person in this role will support the Dealer Lending Department's objective to maintain strict adherence to TMCC policies and procedures, guarantee the accuracy of financial reporting, and uphold compliance standards to enable effective portfolio management.
What you’ll be doing
Manage the daily workflow of Dealer Lending National Accounts operations, including monitoring and responding to communications from Agent Banks, coordinating draw requests, initiating new loan setups, and overseeing fund reservations to ensure accurate and timely outbound wire processing.
Conduct thorough reviews of all executed loan documentation, including credit agreements, approvals, compliance checklists, and system data entries, to guarantee completeness, accuracy, and adherence to regulatory and internal standards during loan onboarding.
Oversee payment processing and perform monthly reconciliation of principal, interest, and fee income, ensuring cash records are maintained accurately and reconciliations are completed within established timelines.
Serve as a subject matter expert for Dealer Lending National Accounts operational projects, collaborating closely with the Domain team on system enhancements, report development, implementations, and rigorous testing to optimize operational efficiency and data integrity.
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reflect current best practices, ensure regulatory compliance, and standardize processes across TMCC Regional Dealer Lending operations.
Lead and execute monthly and ad hoc SOX control activities, acting as the primary liaison during internal and external audits with Internal Audit, PwC, and the SOX compliance team to ensure robust control environments and accurate financial reporting.
Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor a high-performing team of 3-5 direct reports and contingent staff, fostering professional growth, building bench strength, and enhancing analytical capabilities to support succession planning and team scalability.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for team members, driving accountability, delivering timely and constructive feedback, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Facilitate cross-functional communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders including Sales, Underwriting, Operations, Servicing, Audit, Accounting, and Treasury teams to support monthly and quarterly reconciliations and resolve operational issues proactively.
Champion process improvement initiatives and change management efforts, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce risk, and enhance the overall effectiveness of Dealer Lending National Accounts operations.
What you bring
Bachelor’s Degree or relative working experience
2+ years of relevant work experience in loan operations or in a similar field and/or industry
Proficient in Microsoft Office, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Understanding of basic Finance/Accounting
Added bonus if you have
5+ years of relevant work experience in loan operations or in a similar field and/or industry
Experienced in commercial loan funding and processing (i.e. Captive Finance industry/Company or Bank)
Experience processing/managing syndicated loan facilities
