Leidos is seeking a college intern to support the Corporate HR Services team with various staffing initiatives. This position will provide the intern an opportunity to gain experience in a corporate environment, learn about the HR Shared services ecosystem to include Onboarding, Offboarding, Employee Services, Leave Services Manager Services, and our Employee Records Management in support of our internal customers- Leidos employees and managers. The intern will receive hands-on training and professional development in communications, HR Services processes and procedures, and reporting and analytics, while working closely with other Human Resources functional teams on a variety of assignments.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in HR Services team meetings, workshops/presentations, networking & professional development events.
Create presentation decks for management that highlight and communicate monthly/quarterly accomplishments
Under guidance, create metrics reporting and customer satisfaction surveys
Collaborate with HR Services team to include managers, analysts, administrative assistants on projects, newsletters, monthly project spotlight, publishing other items to intranet.
Engage in process improvement sessions related to HR Services tools and resources.
Support teams and individual projects related to the various HR Services team priorities.
Complete tasks and special projects as directed by the HR Services Vice President.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Management, Human Resources, or a related field, with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Customer service oriented and demonstrated the ability to collaborate with others on projects and assignments to achieve optimal results.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint and experience with AI, Canva, and other technology and systems.
Must be flexible, proactive, organized, manage workflow, and have prompt follow-up.
Must possess strong interpersonal skills including oral and written communication with attention to detail.
Must be able to multitask, shift priorities, bring tasks to completion with minimal supervision, and meet varying deadlines.
Must be a self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently or in a team.
Ability to research and analyze information using the internet and reference materials.
Creativity in problem-solving and being able to offer alternative solutions.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $41,600.00 - $75,200.00
