We are seeking a Senior Quality Manager to lead quality strategy and execution within a high-reliability aerospace manufacturing environment.
In this role, you will serve as a key leader responsible for ensuring products meet the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and customer expectations. You will lead a team of quality professionals while partnering cross-functionally with engineering, operations, supply chain, and program leadership to deliver world-class quality performance across complex aerospace products.
This is a highly visible leadership position that drives quality culture, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across the organization.
What You Will Do

Lead and develop a team of quality engineers, inspectors, and quality professionals to ensure compliance with aerospace regulatory requirements and company standards.

Establish and drive the site quality strategy aligned with business objectives, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements.

Ensure compliance with aerospace quality management systems including AS9100, AS13100, FAA, and applicable regulatory standards.

Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and defect prevention initiatives.

Lead investigation and resolution of quality issues using structured problem-solving methods (RCCA, 8D, DMAIC).

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve first-pass yield, product reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Serve as the primary interface for customer quality engagement, audits, and quality performance reviews.

Lead internal and external audits, ensuring effective responses and sustained compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.

Develop and monitor quality performance metrics, identifying trends and implementing proactive improvement strategies.

Support new product introduction and manufacturing process changes by ensuring quality requirements are integrated early in the design and production lifecycle.

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational discipline focused on delivering defect-free products.

Drive RTX Zero (Zero Defect Plan) proactive activities.
Qualifications You Must Have
-
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience

Quality, manufacturing, or similar engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
Qualifications We Prefer
-
Prior leadership or people management experience.

Experience working within AS9100 or equivalent quality management systems.

Strong experience leading root cause investigations and corrective action processes.

Experience in aerospace manufacturing, repair, or engine systems environments.

Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as FAA, EASA, or defense/aerospace quality standards.

Certification in quality methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, or ASQ certifications (CQE, CQM).

Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional improvement initiatives in complex manufacturing environments.

Experience working directly with customers on quality performance, audits, and issue resolution.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
