As a Tax Accountant, you will manage tax returns, reconcile ledger accounts, and conduct critical research that supports audits and planning. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Prepare and complete tax compliance for multiple entities, ensuring timely submission using Spectrum’s tax software
- Accumulate, analyze and process financial accounting data for tax return preparation
- Maintain accurate tax records and reconcile general ledger tax accounts
- Research and resolve notices from taxing jurisdictions, addressing technical tax issues as they arise
- Process journal entries for the tax department and investigate monthly variances in tax amounts
- Compile data to support tax audits and participate in research, planning, and special projects
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with tax, accounting and system personnel to facilitate department objectives

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
Experience
- 0+ years general ledger accounting experience
- 0+ years tax experience

- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to use personal computer and software applications including word processing and spreadsheets
- Superior Excel skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret data
- Ability to research technical tax issues
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
