As Director, Operations, Earnings Defects, you will oversee complex, cross-functional workstreams that resolve earnings issues at scale, protect contractor trust, and strengthen regulatory alignment—while driving efficiency, innovation, and measurable business results.
About the Independent Contractor (Spark Driver) Earnings Team
Our team partners with senior leadership, legal, compliance, operations, and product to ensure our contractor earnings programs meet the highest standards of compliance, transparency, and efficiency. We drive strategic initiatives that balance regulatory requirements with seamless contractor experience, supporting the company’s vision for growth and trust.
What you'll do...
- Lead complex earnings defect initiatives from strategy through execution, ensuring compliant,timely, and scalable resolutions.
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, Product, and Operations to balance regulatory requirements with seamless contractor experience.
- Develop data-driven insights, scorecards, and performance standards to improveearningsaccuracy and operational efficiency.
- Manage budgets, prioritize investments, and implement solutions that mitigate loss and reduce operationalexpense.
- Build and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- 8+ years of experience leading large-scale operations, compliance, or defect remediation programs in complex environments.
- Demonstratedexpertisein translating data analysis into strategic business recommendations and operational improvements.
- Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders, budgets, and regulatory-sensitive initiatives.
- Strong executive communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and external partners.
- Proven ability to design performance frameworks, drive process innovation, and deliver measurable business impact.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
