The Work The Organization Effectiveness Manager will design and execute interventions to improve organization performance and advance the RMS strategy. The successful candidate will be expected to assist business leaders with completing organization design, organization effectiveness interventions, and strategic planning. This position will lead a team of Organization Effectiveness consultants and be expected to serve as a subject matter expert in Organization Development practices for the RMS Business.
Specific Areas of Responsibility:
• Consult with Senior Leaders and HR Professionals to diagnose barriers to high performance teams and implement appropriate interventions
• Apply knowledge of Organization Design principles to support leaders in structuring efficient and effective organization structures and workflows that can deliver on business goals
• Use the consulting process to define the requirements of a given project, develop a work plan, and enlist key partners and stakeholders to achieve the necessary result
• Support RMS and 1LMX Strategic Projects by framing complex problems, developing recommendations, and collaborating across the team to drive implementation
• Oversee organization transformation efforts from beginning to end in service of our key strategic priorities, including coordination and facilitation 1LMX implementation updates for RMS Senior Leadership
• Offer thought leadership for organization design, change management, and leadership coaching
• Develop client facing solutions and models to upskill our HR organization in completing organization design, strategic planning, and change management consultations
• Serve as Business Area lead in enterprise-wide Org Design and Org Effectiveness forums and councils, providing thought leadership and business-oriented input to shape enterprise solutions
• Oversee resources, tools, and strategies for Org Design and Org effectiveness, leveraging these to upskill the internal T&OC team, the HR team, and the broader OD/OE team across the corporation
• Craft communications to include executive summaries, organization assessment reports, and presentations in support of key deliverables
• Leads oversight Executive Coaching (process, budget, coordination) and leadership and team assessments for RMS Business Area, including vendor partnerships
• Provide strategic leadership to the RMS OD/OE team, including cultivating a strong team culture and ensuring optimal team performance

Basic Qualifications:• A minimum of 5 years of experience completing Organization Designs and restructuring activities for complex organizations, including using organization effectiveness tools/models such as Galbraith Organization Design Model
• A minimum of 5 years of experience delivering in-house workshops such as Senior Leader Meetings, Business Strategy working sessions, and New Leader Assimilations
• Experience consulting with leaders to assess organizational needs and implement appropriate HR interventions such as organization restructuring or organization transformation
• Leadership experience, including creating a vision, executing strategy, and leading virtual teams
• Experience influencing decision making at all levels of the organization
• Strong analytical skills with the ability represent key performance indicators and business drivers into actionable recommendations
• Proactive identification and communication of issues that may impede an initiative and the ability to use critical thinking skills to determine alternative solutions
• Ability to apply innovative approaches to existing solutions
• Must be willing to travel
Desired Skills:• MBA/Master’s Degree in Organization Behavior or related area
• HRBP Experience and/or HR Experience within RMS
• Prior experience with a large Management or Human Capital Consulting Firm

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $128,400 - $222,640. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
