As a Configuration Data Management (CDM) & Software Configuration Manager on the FBM program, your responsibilities will include:
The selected individual will manage the FBM Configuration Data Management (CDM) and Software Configuration Management teams for FBM Re-entry.
• Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Embracing and implementing supervisory standards that are based on corporate values and guidelines.
• Responsible for managing and coordinating the efforts of their team, ensuring efficient workflow, providing guidance and support, and achieving collective goals. Decisions are long-lasting and heavily impact the organization. Engages with senior personnel on significant matters.
• Interfacing with the Sr. CDM manager and provide daily guidance to subordinates to ensure program execution.
• Ensure that customer requirements are met and implemented by working closely with the Navy Customer.
• Able to be flexible with continuous change and improvements and have the ability to help create change.
• Will ensure consistent interpretation and application of relevant Enterprise and Program command media.
• Provide mentorship and development of CDM and Proposal team members in partnership with the Asc Managers.
• Maintain and update Processes and Procedures as necessary.
• Work and provide inputs for proposals to Senior Manager.
• The selected individual will work across multiple projects within the FBM Program to ensure that CDM and Software processes are implemented consistently, manage documentation release priorities to ensure programmatic commitments are achieved, and resolve emergent challenges in a timely manner.
• Help facilitate and incorporate new Development processes in unclassified and classified areas.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in Engineering Baseline Management or C&DM disciplines leading projects or personnel.
• Working knowledge and understanding of basic Configuration Management Principles.
• Able to read and understand DOD Contracts.
• Experience working DOD Production and Development missile programs.
• Demonstrated understanding of EIA-649 principles.
• Government or Navy customer experience.
• Final Top Secret Clearance; US Citizenship required.
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated successful team/relationship building skills across multiple organizational boundaries.
• Experience leading / integrating solutions for geographically disperse teams.
• 2 years or more experience in a leadership role.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Experience with project engineering disciplines.
• Computer Aided design (CAD) and Model Based Engineering (MBE) experience.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
