THE WORKThe RMS Global Sustainment Supply Organization is looking for an Items Analyst supporting the Canadian Maritime Helicopter Program fleet
This role will include all facets of material management assuring inventory sufficiency to respect to the Canadian Maritime Helicopter Program (CMHP) throughout the life cycle of supported systems. The Items Analyst will be responsible to manage and control the contractor/customer inventory located on multiple main operating bases under the conditions of performance based logistics (PBL) contract. In this role the candidate will strategize and execute decisions for operating inventory to include suppliers (new and repair assets) to support the aircraft availability of the CMHP fleet (ex: inventory allocation and asset redistribution as necessary to maintain fully mission capable aircraft). The Items Analyst will support provisioning determinations, understands and uses various inventory optimization models and long term forecasts.

Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience in material management; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.
• Strong material management skill set
• Forecast modeling expertise
• Supply Chain Management concepts and performance requirements
Desired Skills:• Strong Excel and PowerPoint Skills
• Experience with SAP
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and reporting accuracy.
• Good communication skills both oral and written

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
