Role Title: Commercial _ AIC Manager:
Role Description:
The Commercial/AIC Manager will provide expert commercial and procurement support for activities related to the delivery of Supply Chain Assurance and Resilience activities.
The successful candidate will provide Commercial and Contract Management services and artefact as required, including, but not limited to, the following:
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement fit-for-purpose procurement methodologies that support rapid onboarding and sustainment of Army Aviation capabilities.
Advise and structure contracting options (standing offers, panels, and performance-based models) to achieve value for money and operational flexibility. Contracting approaches will incorporate AIC incentives, industry development outcomes and mechanisms to support continuous capability refresh aligned with evolving operational requirements and technological advancements
Prepare comprehensive tender documentation, incorporating AIC and supply chain resilience requirements across Statements of Work, evaluation criteria, and contractual terms, providing evaluation and negotiation support to ensure enforceable commitments aligned with Commonwealth value for money principles, while leading market engagement, ensuring compliance with Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs), Defence procurement policies and AIC frameworks and managing mature cost models in accordance with CASG guidelines.
Provide commercial risk analysis and documentation support to ensure compliance with AIC policy obligations, export control requirements, Defence governance frameworks and ethical and legal standards across all procurement and governance activities. Contributing to the development and review of key commercial documents supporting effective and compliant outcomes across all activities.
Essential Requirements:
Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to negotiate desirable outcomes
Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to engage collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
The ability to understand contractual artifacts and contract management plans to procure goods and services to meet complex stakeholder needs.
Desirable Requirements:
A tertiary degree or higher in business, law, commerce, finance or similar
Demonstrated knowledge of AIC Frameworks
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with DISP responsibilities
Required Security Clearance Level: NV1
Location: Brisbane or Canberra
Hours: 80hr per fortnight, as agreed with client.
