Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Quality Multi-Family Manager K to support our Final Assembly/Position 2 team within 787 Quality in North Charleston, South Carolina.
You will manage a group of employees engaged in partnering with various manufacturing disciplines, ensuring efficient operations and high quality production. If you are passionate about fostering a collaborative work environment and driving continuous improvement, we want to hear from you!
Position Responsibilities:
Leads and manages a high performing team of quality professionals
Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
Provides education, leadership, and coaching on the Quality System
Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers, and direct reports
Manages, develops, and motivates others
Exhibits Boeing Behaviors and Values
Possesses & influences a mindset of safety, quality & excellence
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience inspecting aircraft/aerospace parts, components, and/or assemblies for conformance with applicable drawings, specifications, quality standards, and manufacturing plans
3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal role
3+ years of experience leading process improvement activities that delivered measurable business results
Experience working and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
High School diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience with workload management
Experience working directly with internal and external suppliers
Prior military related experience
A&P license

Summary Pay Range: $112,200 - $151,800
