This position is not responsible for managing physical inventory, stock levels, purchasing, or warehouse operations. The focus is strictly on data integrity, system accuracy, and process standardization. The role reports directly to the COO and plays a key part in supporting operational efficiency and cross-functional alignment.
Inventory & Product Data Management
- Create and maintain SKU records, UPCs, product attributes, and item master data
- Manage style/color/size matrices and product hierarchies
- Maintain accurate product specifications, costing fields, and system attributes
- Ensure alignment of data across ERP, WMS, EDI, and e-commerce platforms
Data Governance & Accuracy
- Develop and enforce data standards, naming conventions, and documentation
- Conduct regular audits of item master data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Identify and correct data inconsistencies across systems
- Maintain version control and change documentation for product data
Systems Administration & Support
- Serve as primary owner of inventory master data within ERP
- Support new product setup and seasonal product launches
- Partner with IT on integrations and system enhancements
- Build and maintain reporting tools related to product and item master data
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Merchandising, Product Development, Sales, and Finance to ensure accurate data setup
- Support forecasting and planning teams by maintaining clean and structured data
- Provide data support for internal reporting and analysis
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
