Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Avionics Mechanic willing to work on 1st 2nd and/or 3rd shift with periodic weekends supporting MH-139 program at Maxwell Air Force Base (AFB), Alabama.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assemble, disassemble and/or modify systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes
- Provide on the job training (OJT) to USAF personnel will be required
- Oversee assembly, disassembly or overhaul
- Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment
- Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
- Perform validation/verification testing of systems and components
- Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results)
- Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness requirements
- Work under general direction
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Military aircraft maintenance
- Must have thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers
- Must be willing to work variable shifts
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with AW-139 or MH-139 maintenance and/or modifications
- Experience with rotorcraft maintenance
- Currently hold or have held an Airframe & Power plant (A&P) license
- General Mechanic experience desirable

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $68,000 - $92,000.
