Purpose of the role

Key Responsibilities:
- To help define and deliver a world-class medical education strategy for assigned therapeutic areas on behalf of brand core value teams (CVT) to enable Healthcare Professionals to make informed decisions for patient care within the therapeutic and disease areas of strategic importance to the organization.
- To collaborate with scientific faculty to create accredited (where possible) education plans in line with agreed CVT strategy and proactively identified unmet educational needs.
- Work with the medical & cross-functional teams to shape the strategic medical education plan during the business planning process with proposed budgets
- Actively engage with professional bodies and help create strategic networks.
- Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to ensure the delivery of high-quality material, agreed metrics, and timely execution of projects/material and in line with company policies and agreed budgets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with a preference for those with an advanced degree.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- 2+ years pharmaceutical industry experience
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience working with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs).
- Ability to collaborate optimally with cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred:
- Shown experience in medical education or related field.
- Knowledge of therapeutic areas relevant to the organization.
- Experience in working with external agencies and vendors.
Other:
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Travel up to 30% may be required, primarily within the United Kingdom but may also include international
