We’re looking for an Accountant to join our team supporting the Track-type Tractor manufacturing facility in East Peoria, Illinois as part of the Resource Industries Operations and Products (RIOP) division at Caterpillar.
As the Accountant, you will be responsible for leading the monthly closing process by reviewing and presenting financial results for the East Peoria manufacturing facility. You will also have the responsibility of leading the team through forecasting cycles. This position will also provide business partnering support to groups in East Peoria operations. This position interacts with and presents to leadership.
What You Will Do:
- Lead and manage all aspects of financial analysis and planning for the East Peoria manufacturing.
- Provide insights into the financial results of the business on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Implement new tools and analytics to continuously improve financial analysis and business insights.
- Prepare RBM and ABP forecasts.
- Resolve issues independently.
- Present and explain results to management.
- Implement new tools and analytics to continuously improve business partnering.
- Complete and assist with ad hoc reporting and analysis requests.

- Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
- Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

- Bachelor’s degree in an Accounting, Finance or related discipline

Summary Pay Range:
$89,210.00 - $133,810.00
