About this role:
The Head of Business Management for Shared Services Operations (SSO) provides senior‑level leadership in defining and driving the business management strategy for a global 5,000+ employee organization. This leader serves as the strategic architect for how SSO sets enterprise‑aligned priorities, allocates financial and workforce resources, manages operational governance, and executes multi‑year transformation initiatives. The role partners closely with senior executives across Operations, Finance, HR, Technology, Controls, and Risk to drive clarity, discipline, and alignment across all SSO functions.
In this role, you will:
Serve as the strategic architect for SSO’s business management agenda, operating with independence in defining strategy and structuring executive decisions.
Define multi‑year plans, prioritization frameworks, and enterprise‑aligned objectives.
Create executive‑ready strategic narratives synthesizing complex information into recommendations and advise senior executives with structured insights and strategic options.
Lead executive routines, performance reviews, scorecards, and governance forums, preparing executive-level materials for business reviews and forums.
Ensure transparency, accountability, and cross‑functional reporting.
Proactively identify risks, resource constraints, and decision needs; resolving competing priorities and ensuring coordinated execution of SSO objectives.
Lead SSO financial operating model: budgets, forecasting, capacity planning, location strategy.
Direct operational controls: BCP, access governance, application ownership, workforce routines.
Provide insight‑driven recommendations for enterprise resource allocation.
Drive alignment across Operations, Finance, HR, Technology, Controls, Risk, and S&T, and represent SSO in Enterprise Forums.
Manage direct reports including a team of business managers, reporting associates, project managers, and analysts. Working collaboratively with the functional business managers within Shared Services.
Build a high‑performance culture and develop organizational talent.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, including Management or leadership experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in business execution, strategy, or operations leadership.
Proven experience supporting senior executives within a large, matrixed enterprise.
Expertise in operational governance, performance management, and executive-level presentations.
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and capacity/resource planning.
Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
Ability to influence and drive outcomes without formal authority across complex organizational structures.
Proven capability to navigate high levels of complexity and ambiguity.
Experience leading teams, developing talent, and fostering high-performance cultures.
Background in shared services, centralized operations, or enterprise operating models.
Proficiency in KPI and scorecard design, performance measurement
Strong risk management orientation, with experience engaging with regulatory bodies.
Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environment.
Job Expectations:
