Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Front Line Leaders (Level K) to join our 737 Renton Supplier Quality Team in Puget Sound.
We are looking for energetic and proactive Front-Line leader to join our team. This role demands a critical thinker with strong business acumen to lead a team of Investigators. The individual should possess the ability to work well across diverse groups and effectively collaborate across organizational boundaries. The candidate will exhibit resilience and tenacity in implementing improvements in an established and regulated production and quality system.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a diverse team of employees responsible for Product Corrective Action: Obtaining corrective action on nonconforming hardware provided by external suppliers; negotiating concurrence, obtaining commitments for taking corrective action, prioritizing quality activities and ensuring problem resolution; reviewing and validating the corrective action plan and identifying effectivity to ensure completion
Develop and implement effective business plans, policies, and procedures aimed at enhancing performance and quality outcomes
Create and execute organizational and technical strategies that promote continuous improvement and operational excellence
Provide education and coaching on the Quality System, empowering team members to understand and uphold quality standards
Acquire and manage resources efficiently, leading initiatives that drive process improvements and optimize performance
Build and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers, and direct reports to foster collaboration and success
Inspire, develop, and motivate employees, cultivating a high-performance culture that embraces change and encourages professional growth
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or related experience in a regulated industry
3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role (this includes managing team assignments, tracking status, and developing a team’s talent)
3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
3+ years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or solutions
3+ years of experience reporting performance metrics
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or experience in related field
Familiarity with the Boeing quality management system, quality handbook, AS9100
Experience using various problem-solving methods and critical thinking skills
Demonstrated ability to navigate conflicts and build partnerships with suppliers, teams, and internal stakeholders
Must possess:
Status quo agitator. The ability to rapidly assess situations and problem solve, then collaborate with others to chart a course towards issue resolution.
Diverse perspective. Professional experiences that can translate to working effectively with teams from different divisions, functions and geographies to developing strategies.

Summary pay range: $130,050 - $175,950
