We work closely with leaders across Disney Entertainment, ESPN, and Disney Experiences—including brands like Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Searchlight, Disney+, Hulu, ABC, FX, and more—to ensure initiatives are supported by best-in-class sourcing strategies.
We are seeking a Sourcing Specialist with experience in Marketing Sourcing, specifically in Digital & Social. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and collaborative partner who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Reporting to the Category Manager, Marketing Sourcing, this role offers the opportunity to influence high-impact Marketing initiatives and drive value across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement sourcing strategies for Digital & Social, with flexibility to support additional Marketing categories as needed.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and innovation across Digital & Social, while ensuring alignment with Marketing and Finance goals.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration and explore innovative sourcing models to unlock enterprise-wide value.
- Build strong relationships with Marketing and Finance partners to understand their strategic priorities and deliver tailored sourcing solutions.
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships that support shared objectives, service expectations, and performance outcomes.
- Monitor market trends and vendor capabilities to inform sourcing decisions and mitigate risk.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Marketing Sourcing, Strategic Sourcing, or related field.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills – able to collaborate and communicate effectively across teams.
- Understanding of the full Strategic Sourcing lifecycle including strategy development, RFx, contract negotiation and execution.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Professional, customer-focused, and highly organized with strong project management capabilities.
- Resourceful and effective at managing projects independently.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The hiring range for this position in California is $87,200.00 to $106,400.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
