Not RequiredAs a Quality Engineer II you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and performance of critical aircraft components. In this role, you will partner closely with manufacturing, materials, and engineering teams to proactively identify risks, solve complex quality challenges, and strengthen process capability. You will analyze data, participate in root-cause investigations, and implement corrective and preventive actions that improve reliability, reduce variation, and ensure compliance with aerospace standards. This position offers the opportunity to influence real-time production decisions, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and help deliver high-quality product that meet the demanding safety and performance expectations of the aerospace industry.

What You Will Do:
-
Provide support conducting technical investigations and drive immediate risk containment measures.
-
Actively participate in root cause analysis investigations to improve performance for quality, cost, and delivery.

Manages, and presents/reports Key Process Indicators (KPIs) for the area including but not limited to: Scrap Rework Repair, Pareto by Defects, Repeat/Defects Per Unit, First Pass Yield, all Escapes, Audit Findings, etc.

Leverage Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing to recommend various Inspection Methodologies for proper inspection of hardware.

Draft technical documents (e.g.: Inspection Plans, local Work Instructions, Controlled procedures, Standard Illustrated Plannings, etc.).

Identifies and manages risk in product development primarily utilizing and driving PPAP core elements (e.g.: Process Flow Diagrams, Measurement System Analysis, Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, and Process Control Plan, etc.)

Reviews process control documentation to ensure it is in

compliance with requirements and objectives.

Interfaces with audits (e.g. internal, external, customer, regulatory, etc.) as a point of contact.
Qualifications You Must Have
-
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience in quality or Advanced degree in a related field.

Prior experience drafting technical documents
Qualifications We Prefer

American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or Certified Quality Inspector (CQI)

Prior experience in a AS9100 environment

Working knowledge of Net Inspect and SAP
-
Previous experience in Material Review Board (MRB) with dispositioning of nonconforming

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
