About The Role
CBRE is seeking an Investment Banking Vice President to join our Capital Markets platform. This role is responsible for supporting the origination and execution of complex advisory and capital markets transactions for institutional and private clients. The Vice President will work closely with senior leadership to develop client relationships, analyze investment opportunities, and execute financial advisory assignments across mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, and equity and debt capital raises.
The ideal candidate brings strong financial and analytical capabilities, transaction experience, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects. This individual will collaborate with brokerage, capital markets, and research teams to deliver integrated advisory solutions that support clients’ strategic investment objectives.
What You’ll Do
Support the origination and execution of investment banking transactions including mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, structured financings, and capital raises
Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors, private equity firms, REITs, and corporate clients
Assist senior team members in providing strategic advisory services related to capital structure, investment strategy, and transaction execution
Lead financial analysis, valuation modeling, and preparation of transaction materials including pitch books, offering memorandums, and investor presentations
Manage due diligence processes and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, capital flows, and investment opportunities
Partner with CBRE brokerage and capital markets professionals to support integrated client solutions
Assist in mentoring analysts and associates and reviewing financial analysis and presentation materials
Support business development efforts including preparing client presentations and identifying new opportunities
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
6–10 years of experience in investment banking, capital markets, real estate finance, or related advisory roles
Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
Experience supporting complex transactions and managing multiple workstreams
Strong understanding of capital markets, financial instruments, and transaction structuring
Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and collaborate with senior stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Investment Banking Vice President position is $150,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Investment Banking Vice President position is $200,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
