Our Americas Distribution Services Division (ADSD) provides governance and administration of Cat® dealers across the U.S., Canada, and Latin America.
As the Distribution Development Representative, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the mid to long-term business development strategy with the business partners within the Southern US District.

What You Will Do:
- Leads cross‑functional collaboration with internal business partners and external consultants to gather industry insights, Voice of Customer, and Voice of Business inputs, translating them into actionable opportunities that support business growth.
- Manages dealer performance metrics, dashboards, and management tools to monitor progress, identify improvement areas, and develop processes that support increased sales and operational excellence.
- Plans, leads, and executes key projects critical to the success of the department and broader enterprise, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and organizational objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive market assessments by analyzing competitive activity, market dynamics, evolving customer needs, and the organization’s position within the industry to inform strategic planning and business decisions.
What You Have (Required Skills):
- Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
- Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
- Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
- Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
- Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

Summary Pay Range:
$147,760.00 - $221,640.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
